Here's some interesting news from the #orban kingdom ( #Hungary ).
The control-free govenrment have changed the criminal law, apart from other parts the one about fake news and the new text contains that it is a crime when it "suits the purpose of obstructing the fight agains the virus".
While some believed that this change would be the tool the government needed to stop opposition-oriented media and people to reveal all the crimes of the government this has been vehemently refuted: it is only to help fighting the disease.
The first demonstration of this support of the better good of the nation was on 12th may, when a 64 year old man was arrested by a bunch of policemen (with extremely high visiblility in the vicinity, red lights, sirens and whatnot) due to his public #facebook post on 28 april which was shared by 11 people and contained the observation that "the government timed the end of the quarantine laws on the peak of the infections and that it could result mass infection in the population". Later it has became known that he also posted earlier that "you are a merciless tyrant but you must know: all dictators fall eventually". (It was not specified who this tyrant was, but it is obvious for everyone.)
The Operative Body of the Government did not comment the case (they speak every day about things to know about the virus), despite being directly asked.
The man was released the next day after he complained for the imputation and the treatment, and the prosecution declared that there was no crime and the reasoning was invalid by multiple reasons. The police did not carry the man home, so he had to walk. The police kept the computer, pendives and other collected electronics of the man, just because.
The man is probably suing the police for various reasons.
Just not to let our thoughts wander in bad directions another man (Csóka-Szűcs János) was arrested on the night of the 13th may. Five policemen and two cars carried the man away around 6 am, due to his facebook post, which was a repost of an opposition politician (Hadházy Ákos) about the emptying of hospital beds and the demonstration about it and and contained the addition that 1170 hospital beds were emptied in Győr (and the sick people were sent home) too. (The fact is that 1200 beds were emptied in Győr.) The man was promptly released when he mentioned that if the police want to call his contacts they should contant two well-known opposition EU PMs. The police did not carry home the handicapped man.
This nicely fits the earlier change of the media law which could make arrest of publicists much easier on the grounds of "fake news".

•Anyway, I mean to say : embarrass you when you get "arrested" but then there is no fanfare for your "release" right after. I was harassed by the same police at a different time, in the same city, and they tried to pull me over for a reckless driving. I made them state the charges for me, and when they couldn't explain what crime I had committed, they tried to arrest me. only because I knew my rights, and because I understood what they were trying to do was I able to be safe. I asked them practical questions about what would happen with my car, where would I go, reminded them that I was a minor, (Yes they were harassing a 16-year-old.... So shameful) And it seemed to kind of shake them out of it. They wrote me a ticket, I took it to court, it was thrown out and the judge made a comment about the police officer but that was it. There is no justice for people who are harassed by the police. Seemingly in any country...

•Nobody here looks up to USA, full of gun-toting, under-educated lawyered-up madmen.
(Obviosuly the exception is those who can actually think, but sometimes I have the strange feeling that I know them all... the whole few dozens of them.)
