Yeah, you definitely need a couple Mastodon accounts and a Pleroma one just to be sure you aren't missing out!

You know that's how I realize I'm a very basic user. I got enough friends here :^)
BTW that's somehow an issue to me. Friendica doesn't tell me what are the new posts in my friends stream, I have to reckognise once I reach one I've already seen (today I still have a good memory but...). Wouldn't it be possible to highlight the new ones or "grey out" the old/seen ones ?
ALSO, if a friend comments one of my own posts, it shows in the notifications drop down, it's fine. But if the friend only likes it, it notifies on the little house icon BUT doesn't tell me WHICH post was liked.
Is it a wanted behaviour, a flaw, a bug ? Is there a point in reporting to the Friendica support forum ?

Have you tried the "New" tab in the Network page? It might be what you want.

Also for the absence of notifications for likes, I feel it is a bad middle ground. I came to loathe this house notification badge for this reason. I love that I'm not getting a hard notification every time someone likes one of my publication, but I'm still compelled to look by this awful badge.

I don't have a "New" tab in the network page. Only got : Commented last, posted last, Personal, Starred. So what are you referring to ?

That's an additional feature. It's probably not enabled by default

I do have around 5 or 6 Diaspora accounts, 3 Friendica accounts (not counted the bots and test accounts), 1 Mastodon account, 1 Pleroma account, 1 Hubzilla account, 2 GNU Social accounts, 2 pump.io accounts, ...
