#MiniReview #VideoGames Hammerwatch (2013) is a minimalistic dungeon-crawling hack and slash which levels look procedurally generated at first, but actually aren't. It makes for a better navigating experience (keys and the doors they open are logically placed) but doesn't excuse the sheer size of each floor. This makes it way more repetitive than it needs to be, and I was disappointed to find out the true ending requires the player to find all of one type of secrets across a 7h playthrough. Ugh.
