Looking for StarCraft remastered sprites
So I've been looking into building a #StarCraft I Terran Battlecruiser out of #LEGO parts, but so far the existing models are either too big (5800 pieces! https://www.brickvault.toys/products/battlecruiser-star-craft) or too small (350 pieces https://www.bricklink.com/v3/studio/design.page?idModel=136668).
I may start designing one from the ground up at a scale in between these, and for that endeavor I'd like to have the highest quality reference material. I already have the low-res StarCraft I sprites from 1998, but so far I haven't been able to find the high-res StarCraft Remastered sprites.
Does anyone know where I could find them?

•But I still needed the file. I didn't want to spend $15 for the specific sprites of this specific vehicle, so I looked for a pirated copy I wouldn't run, just extract the sprite from the game data file.
It turns out to be exceedingly difficult to find a pirated copy of this game, even The Pirate Bay doesn't have it, which sounds like a win for the copyright industry. I still found a torrent on a Korean website.
After downloading the 2Gb files, I realize it contains a RAR archive with a disc ISO inside. It's another step, but fine.
It turns out the RAR archive is password protected, and the password is given through a URL found in the Readme file. Fine.
Both the provided URLs redirect to a cryptocurrency website that has exactly nothing to do with pirated copies. So no password for me.
What about cracking the RAR archive password? Surely... show more

What about cracking the RAR archive password? Surely it shouldn't be that difficult! It turns out the few RAR archive cracker software I found are sold for $25-$45, which is more than buying a license for the game in the first place.
I might have found another torrent with the game directory files weighing 12 Gb, I'll keep you updated with the progress of my endeavor with the specific archive format reader I downloaded separately.

•I was able to find a recent build of StarCraft and I started looking for the coveted sprites. I found the 1998 sprites for the Battlecruiser, but I haven't found the sprites for either the HD version or the Carbot cartoon version although "Carbot" is mentioned several times in the archive.
I did find the HD version of the unit wireframes (that change color depending on the damage received, but nothing more for the unit themselves.
Viewing the actual images was another challenge, Blizzard uses GRP files to combine several images into a single file, and GRP file converter software is few and far between since StarCraft modding heyday is long past. I was able to find a survivor, Campaign Creations, that still hosts all the modding programs on their own website.

I'm now considering buying the game and taking screenshots of the Battlecruiser at different angles because I don't think there is anything else I can do with this game data archive that seems to have everything (sounds, unit portrait animations, splash screen images, a website UI) except what I'm looking for.
