#MiniReview #VideoGames Latest installment in the "Crew" series by Runner Duck started with Bomber Crew (2017), Badlands Crew (2025) enable players to design their own Mad Max; Fury Road-inspired War Rig and take it on expeditions to fight a slew of motorized enemies in a desolate post-apocalyptical landscape. Unfortunately, like its predecessors including Space Crew (2020), the novelty wears off quickly and the repetitive aspect of missions could tire many players out.
Thankfully, the modular design will eventually make your Battle Wagon into an unstoppable force with minimal overhead, something that the previous games never afforded by always providing more stations than crew members. 360 degrees turrets are too effective and will make the middle to late game a breeze tactics-wise.
I'm a big fan of Fury Road and this game delivers in spades in that regard, but I expect the overall slog feeling to repel people less enthusiastic about the George Miller aesthetics.
