I apparently started a new Tech Tips category on my blog for this one I found on my own to force-close a crashed fullscreen program with an invasive still image. I hope it'll be useful for someone else.

Had to use this tip again a few hours after I published the article, I changed the graphics settings in a game, it apparently reloaded itself and got stuck on a splash screen.
