We are witnessing the widest US nationwide protests in decades in a period where gathering in crowds can get you sick or dead and it is heartwarming. Frustrated not to be able to join given a somewhat precarious situation but my heart is with y'all. #blacklivesmatter #DefundNYPD
I'm fortunate that my local organizers put together a protest that included a "car march" for people who wanted to maintain social distancing.
These days my feelings are with the US part of the fediverse, especially (of course) - but not ecxlusively - with the ones I had the chance to met in the past. At first there was Corona (which is still not over) and now there is this problem with the police and the president who seemed to gone crazy.

I hope that all stay safe. But also I hope that they do what's in their power to fight against these problems.

Normally I would say: "Go to the streets!", but with Corona this is not that easy. When I see the protests in all parts of the world (in my home town yesterday more than 10,000 people protested for BLM) I really have hope in my heart that things can go well. On the other hand i really fear that this will spread the virus.

I'm totally torn apart, now knowing what to do.
