That's it, I had to pull out one archive website I hosted because it was getting pummeled by AI crawlers and I wasn't able to find a good way to throttle requests with Apache 2.4 and mpm_itk.

hate this timeline so much..Will have to to do the same with an old forum. Already limited to death the only option I see is installing Anubis. That'd also kill legit search engines though so I can basically just kill it as well.
