So, I flew 6 hours inland (1,200 miles, 1,931km) and I’m still in the same country. I was wondering in what other countries you can also do that, but my Internet search for “countries by biggest length” so far yielded more results about penises that I was ready to bargain for.

So far I have:
- Russia
- China
- Chile
- Argentina
- Australia
- Canada (thx @Fu )

Kazakhstan looks like a good candidate but I was not able to find definite information on its dimensions aside from its area which of no use to me.

as you live in the States, I'm assuming it's Canada you missed.
oh, and you should know France, though you'd have to travel between metropolitan France, through NotFrance to get to overseas France.
@Fu Yeah, I wanted to avoid this case as it isn’t particularly great to highlight.
@Fu
what do you mean it is not great to highlight?
@Fu Because it hinges on colonization which still has negative consequences to this day.
@Fu
@Fu Yes, Canada is missing from this list, thanks!
@Fu
@Sarah Brown I see what you did there, I should have mentioned without crossing an ocean.
@paloma kop ⁂ Nice, this is exactly what I was looking for!
@paloma kop ⁂ Although I feel like this is the wrong projection for this kind of chart, Greenland looks humongous but it “just” is in the 2,000-2,500km range.
yes, the chart is kind of shitty lol but i couldn't find the data anywhere else. it would need to be a geodesic path
metropolitan France is small in comparison to the countries you mentioned. Yet you can fly from Paris all the way to the Antilles islands in the Caribbean or to Guyane in south America, or the Reunion island in the Indian ocean and you are still in France...
@Hypolite Petovan Just give us time. We will polder that ocean eventually.
