What about <input type="chatgpt">, to make things easier for users by not requiring them to actually provide any input at all?
We already have that. It's a text field. Is there a situation where you would only want to enter emoji but not allow text?
@Humbird0 Fandom Yes, for emoji reactions. All OSes now have a native emoji picker, and I was dreaming it would be nice to have it open automatically in a dedicated form field instead of having to reimplement the emoji picker in Javascript.
@Hypolite Petovan I'm running Debian. It has a native emoji picker?
@Jonathan Lamothe I expect Gnome and KDE to each have their own. What interface do you use?
@Hypolite Petovan I'm using KDE, but I've been using a third party app for the purpose.
I don’t see anything.
@Brad Koehn ☑️ Huh, the whole conversation should be public including the reply I linked. Anyway, it says “for emoji reactions. Weird. I don't see any of your comments before Brad's either, @Hypolite Petovan.
@Brian Ó I don’t think we relay replies to ActivityPub comments to Diaspora, but the whole conversation should appear using the link I gave Brad.
