@MargaretLarson I have a lot of recipes I learned from my grandparents. They mean a lot to me, and represent my heritage. I teach them to my kids, but I don't give them away to people who aren't family.
if they’re particularly noteworthy or something you might not otherwise find. The beef bourguignon recipe shared by the local beloved French restaurant like 9 years ago, that one I reshare. It’s great. My own stuff? Most of it’s tweaks on other things. I’ll share if you want it
I didn't learn to cook anything more than scrambled eggs until I was 50. The pandemic forced me to at least unpack the Instant Pot and search YouTube for "easy healthy instant pot recipes." It saved my life. I shared some recipes with my Mom to show her that it's really not that hard.
not only I share them, but I'd like to code an activitypub-powered recipe manager where users can follow each other and "star" favorite recipes. Would you be interested in that? 😬
Dit weblog gaat over koken en eten.
Sinds ik juli 2014 gestopt ben met werken in het hoger onderwijs schrijf ik hier met veel plezier over de keuken en wat daarmee samenhangt.
There is a site called grouprecipes.com which commenced in 2007 where individuals shared their favourite recipes. It was extremely active at one time. I had contributed hundreds of recipes there. #foodie #recipes #cooking
@x1101 Ah, my answer would have been very different for that question! I always share recipes if asked. I rarely get around to proactively sharing recipes.
