Have you ever tried Krita's official Android port? If so, I'm really curious to know what your thoughts are about the mobile desktop experience vs. Android.

Either way, this is a cool video!
@ADHDefy Hey, thanks! I haven't tested Krita on Android (or long time ago, in it's first baby steps during a Krita Sprint, so it doesn't count). It's a type of operating system I tolerate on my existence on the phone, but I live a conflictual relationship with it πŸ˜†
I'm sure you'll find good feedback about it with a search on @Krita_artists forum. But I already know the device with a 'serious stylus' (not a toy) and good digitizer, CPU and RAM to paint in comfort are the exception.
that's a good video. I like your style of presenting and obviously, your video is littered with interesting material and nice details.

Keep it up!
Thanks for sharing. Good to see this extensive testing of a convertible.πŸ‘Œ
Thanks for that great review. I used a Helix2 (https://forum.elivelinux.org/t/my-setup-using-elive-as-a-snazzy-drawing-tablet) a lot for painting and remember having a 'proximity' script that turned off touch if the stylus was detected.
your video was like the light at the end of the tunnel after I read about the API issues with reddit.

It's good to know some good stuff can be made with free software and be distributed on free instances.
Thank you for demonstrating how infinitely superior a tool an iPad with ProCreate is compared to this: ergonomically, technologically and financially.
@postroutine Hey, I don't: this is managed by the device and Xinput. In Krita I have to deactivate 'touch painting' in the settings to not have my palm to paint a dot with painting but that's all; after that, the fingers are around only to zoom and pan/rotate. It has some errors, but a low rate. The glove helps a bit to reduce this low percent of false detection (and so, micro panning/zoom in my case, or forearm that activates the bottom right corner button 'ppi' view)
Super.
