We bought a Persian Shield yesterday, among some other plants.


It will be planted in a tall pot with a sweet potato vine that has lime green leaves, and a dahlia.
This plant is a Persian Shield (Strobilanthes dyerianus), recognizable by its iridescent purple leaves featuring deep green veining.

I volunteered for this trio of 4.6" potted plants and a small basket of raspberries. Mrs F bought lunch as usual and generally springs for all of the garden center purchases. I am astonishingly fortunate in this regard.
