anyone any idea what this messages in journalctl mean? I got lots of these before my server crashed and have no Idea what this is.

I guess something was wrong with either MariaDB or the VM itself that cause long operation times on the database which led to lots of long running locks. But what do I do with this?

Mein aktuelles Mobiltelefon mit #LineageOS zeigt deutliche - vor allem mechanische - Alterungserscheinungen. Ich habe bereits 2017 ein #Librem5 bestellt, und mich für den Evergreen-Batch entschieden, die Lieferung ist für irgendwann im Mai angekündigt. Nun hoffe ich, dass der Lieferzeitpunkt auch bei den aktuellen Lieferengpässen bei Elektronikkomponenten hält, und vermute dass das dann ein Sprung ins kalte Wasser wird. Erinnert mich ein wenig an meinen Wechsel von Windows zu #Linux ca 2001. 😃

There is currently a campaign that tries to raise money to improve #Anbox (an Android emulator) on #ubuntutouch.

#Volla has already donated a thousand Euros to kick things of and the campaign has raised 1500€ 💸 so far.

This is a good start, but they need at least 6000€ to hire a freelancer 💻️.

Hi folks,

there is a project that I'd like to contribute that uses #GIT to upload the translations, I thought that I would able to understand the process but I was wrong.

I did some translations in the clone folder but I have not idea how to move forward, I found the same GIT (poorly written) tutorial spread in hundreds of pages with the same content; It is pretty frustrating.

Does anyone of you know a practical and nice tutorial for beginner considering that I am not a coder and I don't have any coding background?

What is the state of the current dev version? Should I switch and set the log to debug before?

PHP 8.0.1 just hit #Arch #Linux, so when I do the next update I would get it.

@Anubis2814 that is up to you, to the system the host runs on. There is many solutions. Also plan ahead and consider if it is worth the effort.

I use qemu/KVM on some #linux, but there is surely better setups than mine.

mir fällt gerade auf, dass anscheinend die Suchfunktion kaputt ist.

Wenn ich z.B. in der Suchmaske "Friendica" eingebe, werden mir keine Suchergebnisse angezeigt. Bei dem Suchbegriff "Linux" ist es das gleiche. Es scheint so zu sein, dass kein Suchbegriff gefunden wird. Das gleiche auch wenn ich nach Tags suche, also z.B. #Friendica oder #Linux.

Folgende Eckdaten für meine Instanz:
- Friendica 'Red Hot Poker' 2020.12-dev - 1368
- Theme "Frio"

Sollten noch weitere Infos nötig sein, trage ich diese gerne nach.

Ich suche gerade nach einer Möglichkeit lokal Mardown Dateien in PDF umzuwandeln. Da gäbe es zwar pandoc, aber wenn ich das mit den notwendigen Abhängigkeiten zu LaTex installieren will, dann möchte der Installer 621MB auf der Platte belegen.

Gibt es eine etwas schmalere Variante?
