Bagdad (dpo) - Die Verwirrung war groß, als der #Iran Aussagen von #US-Präsident #Trump dementierte, wonach es Verhandlungen zwischen beiden Ländern gegeben haben soll. Dennoch hielt Trump an seiner Behauptung fest. Irans Nachbarland #Irak löste das #Missverständnis nun auf: Offenbar hatte sich der US-Präsident aufgrund einer Verwechslung in #Bagdad statt in #Teheran gemeldet.

"Wir haben uns auch ein bisschen gewundert, als Mr. Trump uns aufforderte, sofort die Straße von #Hormus freizugeben und Schiffe nicht länger an der Weiterfahrt zu hindern", erklärte der irakische Präsident Abdul Raschid. "Selbstverständlich haben wir da zugesagt."

Zusätzlich habe der Irak den USA versprochen, keine Raketen auf Israel, Saudi-Arabien, Katar und weitere US-Verbündete abzuschießen. "Hatten wir ja auch sowieso nicht vor."

Trump habe sich sehr erfreut über die Antworten der irakischen Regierung gezeigt. "Sehr gut! Damit ist mir der Friedensnobelpreis sicher", soll der US-Präsident demnach gesagt haben. Und: "Gut. Dann tschö und sorry für die Sache mit eurem Obermullah, den wir weggebombt haben! Ach ja! Und hört bitte auf damit, Urak anzureichern."

In dem Moment sei den Irakern Trumps Verwechslung aufgefallen. "Aber da hatte er leider schon aufgelegt und eine Minute danach auf Truth Social gepostet, dass er kurz vor einem Deal steht", so Raschid.

On February 27, the U.S. Forest Service quietly issued a permit allowing Pete Lien & Sons to start exploratory drilling for graphite at Pe' Sla, the heart of the Black Hills, the heartbeat of the Oceti Sakowin.

Alors, nous y voilà. C’est le plongeon fatal dans l’abîme que les puissances occidentales ont obstinément creusé au fil des dernières décennies. Le cap de la barbarie est définitivement franchi, avec l’insouciance meurtrière de ceux qui ne comprennent pas bien le chaos historique qui se prépare. L’ancien ordre qui faisait le pari du droit contre la force brute, vient brutalement d’achever de s’effondrer sous nos yeux en 2026. Cette nouvelle guerre est celle de trop : par son ampleur et sa nature, elle annonce un tournant majeur dans l’histoire des relations internationales. Denis Robert reçoit pour ce Zoom arrière sous les bombes, le fondateur et directeur de la rédaction d’Elucid suite à la parution cette semaine d’une enquête longue, fouillée et dissonante sur la guerre « suicidaire » menée par Trump et Netanyahu en Iran et au Liban. Une heure et demi, le temps d’un film de guerre, pour entendre et voir ce que jamais vous ne verrez sur les chaînes mainstream où l’on semble vivre dans le monde imaginaire de Donald Trump. Un monde où les gentils sont d’un côté et les méchants de l’autre. Un monde où la guerre ne durera qu’une petite semaine et tout reviendra dans l’ordre du grand Sam, un monde où l’Iran sera libéré des mollahs, etc, etc… un monde où l’Europe et la France ne seront pas vraiment impactés. Et la réalité nous montre chaque jour davantage qu’il se passe diamétralement l’inverse. L’Iran résiste, Trump nous a menti, Israël tire les ficelles. Et l’avenir s’assombrit. Autant rester lucide et regarder le vrai monde en face.

Sure "democracy"....a way for the "majority" to decide ha?!

Yet we live in a world where the ones with a lot of financial power always decide. They own the messengers, social platforms, streaming platforms, newspapers, TV stations, they give money to politicians, bribe, abuse, and so forth....

It may be hard to accept, but there is no democracy. And never was. No one voted to go to war in Ukraine, in Gaza, in Afghanistan. No one voted for the use of fossil fuels instead of renewable energies. No one votes for the prices of medicine, if we should do space missions, build a park, or basically anything else.

People vote to elect a handful of tribe leaders, after a fierce battle of influence over these voters, to then have these leaders do as they please once they are elected. And some of these leaders can't even do shit since the rich control the world anyway.

And now that we talk about democracy, in principle it is a bad idea for most decisions that need to be taken by the experts in the field. Of course we should not have a vote about how to deal with cancer screenings, surgeries, building bridges, or most of these things.

Instead of floating these fantasy ideas around we should keep it simple and reasonable: all people need access to a basic life without any strings attached. Then they can have some autonomy and get involved into all sorts of things. Become engineers, doctors, write for Wikipedia, do open source software, volunteer and so forth. Free people from this primitive trade society, and let them grow. Like creating a fertile soil to be able to grow flowers.

That's what we need. Therefore basic and good services, regardless of the party or leaders. Good healthcare, housing for all, access to education and food, access to free transport, and our basic needs. The rest will emerge out of this good environment.

I didn't vote Trump either time, but anyone can see he's being railroaded.

Come on infosec people, you *know* the signs of social engineering/phishing. High stakes, time constraints, call to action. You're not being smart, you're being a mark.

If you cannot articulate your opponent's position as they would articulate it, you are not qualified to have an opinion on that person or able to have a rational debate. Reductive malicious catch phrases like "Don't Say Gay BIll" or "Republicans want to ban books" are great slogans for ginning up emotional reactions, but don't describe the intent or heart behind the actions. Exactly -zero- Republicans I've ever met want to actually ban books. I've run into more on the Left who want to control speech than vice versa.

I'm horrified by the idea of either the swamp things on the Republican side or the Comrades in the Democrat party taking complete control. The result is the same - "A boot standing on a human face - forever."
