A Crazy impromptu

Why not creating something like a “World #Fediverse Forum” in #Sanremo during the next edition of @scambi in August #2023?

It could be a great unprecedented opportunity to finally create an event that is not for nerds only, not it is an event about tech, but at the same time it addresses social problems of today’s #internet from a #social and #political perspective.

Also, #Italy is a difficult country in terms of ethical tech awareness, #FreeSoftware, and actually in any term, recently: it would be quite significant.

We are already in touch with @internetarchive and @wikimediaitalia… I believe it is a great start to build something important, but especially necessary.

I know there is #DWebCamp already, but it is an event for technologists. We do not want this to be a techies’ fight, but rather a social one! We would mobilize Italian community centers, too.

We definitely do not have at all enough funds (yet) to reimburse all of your trip expenses, but consider yourselves officially invited! Would you come? (Look at some pictures from last year or the documentary, and you could not say no!)
