A good haircut really makes a difference.
I couldn't help smiling when I saw the result and if I'm not smiling on the selfie it's only because
1) I had the sun in my eyes
2) I'm very self-conscious about my smile (nothing to do with my teeth I just think I've an 'ugly' smile)
3) I wanted to look kind of 'badass guy' 😜​

Too bad some people close to me were upset that I'm 'really looking like a man' (so technically a compliment put wrapped in disappointment).
It put quite a damper on my euphoria even though they say they'll get used to it.

Tomorrow I get a haircut.

Yeah, how is THAT for entertaining information?!

Joke aside that's the first one I get in 9 years (I usually do it myself).
It's also the 1st time I go to a barber, not a salon.
They have the pride flag on their window but still I'm a bit nervous to be honest.

So why is January 10 a big day?
Because it's my T-birthday: I started testosterone one year ago!🎂​

I absolutely love the changes from taking hormones yet it's still very very hard for me to look at myself.
I've spent my life in hiding. Hiding my body from myself and hiding myself from others, scared they would notice there was something wrong with me.
So I'm making a big jump here, posting a photo, taken today, without filter.

At first I didn't like me but the more I look at it the more I see the potential.
A bit more muscle, top surgery (soon!) and you'll get a pretty good looking Daddy.😉​

The #wtf of the day:
A cis-man who knows I'm trans accused me of mansplaining to him.
Then he mansplained that me mansplaining is a side-effect of taking testosterone.
But only for trans people.
According to him cis-men are born with T so they 'know' how to deal with its effect while trans people like me are too overwhelmed by it to be able to control it properly.

I was too flabbergasted to ask him how come rape, physical violence, mass shootings etc. are done mostly by cis-men supposedly 'in control' and not by 'rabid trans men' like me.
