Yay, Denmark

Denmark has proposed amendments to its Copyright Act that would grant individuals copyright over their own likenesses to better protect people from deepfakes, with possible effect as early as winter 2025. Denmark’s approach is meant to shift how “personality rights” (like control of image and identity) are handled alongside copyright, because experts warn that mixing the two could create legal gaps.
