Peertube follow / comment

!Friendica Support
I don't know if this is an issue with my server and/or my own configuration, but is there some problem with interacting with a PeerTube instance?

I cannot follow a peertube channel by adding it as a contact from #Friendica but I also can't go *to* the instance and comment on the video.

I realise this could be a Peertube issue, or an issue with the fact that both of these are on the same server, or an issue with my configuration/s in either service.

So I just thought I'd check if there is a known/existing problem with this?
Thanks for providing the video

- you're welcome.

Incidentally, when I try the same thing at Blender's PT instance, I get different behaviour:

When I try to follow my #PeerTube channel from FRN:

UM ... so while playing with this issue, I thought I would grab a "vanilla" firefox to work with (I got my normal firefox so hacked with #fuckoffgoogle scripts and mods that I thought maybe it was breaking things) - and you know what .... a clean FF has no trouble with following my channel ... next I will try to remote comment

Uggh - I hope I haven't wasted everybody's time with this
nope - "Remote Comment" does not work even in vanilla FireFox ....
@Falgn0n The Wizard "or an issue with the fact that both of these are on the same server"
Once I had a problem with such a setup, I simply had to add correct entries to /etc/hosts, in fact I removed the absolute host.example.org and replaced it with host without the domain and tld.
Not sure if this can help, seems unlikely.
UPDATE
With a clean browser (and an update to Peertube) I can follow the video channel on my #PeerTube instance (meaning there is no error and the channel gets listed under my contacts), but -
it gets listed as a 'Forum' in #Friendica (not a big deal, just odd maybe?),
and after I posted a new video there, it never seems to show in my timeline/s here ....
@Michael Vogel
Well - I can follow by RSS: you have to "right=click + copy" the rss url, but it works 😀

enabling debug logging I can do (it's my own server and do all the config by editing config files) ... maybe just point out where/how to turn on debug logging (and what syntax) ?
@Michael Vogel For example, maybe this helps:
https://0bin.net/paste/pu0Dl-oNIXFb7ZeN#
tl;dr
GET /.well-known/webfinger & /.well-known/host-meta = 404 Not Found

Could likely be a nginx issue on the peertube vhost?
(There is no .well-known block in PT's sample vhost file)
@Michael Vogel sure ... just not sure where this "temp" folder might be? You say that I would have assigned it? where would I have done that (it's not something I recall doing during the install)
@Michael Vogel got it
since I turned that debug on in local.config - there are soooo many files in there
can I delete them all and then start over, or filter it in some way so that we narrow down to what we're looking for?
fyi, my PT instance url did not register in any of those files
