Using #helix editor for some time now, and I really enjoy it. Sometimes I need to switch a lot between different git branches, and not being notified about changed files is the single significant drawback here. Looking forward to seeing https://github.com/helix-editor/helix/issues/1125 fixed some day.

It would be great if it were detected when the file you are editing has been changed externally, and if possible, automatically reload the file. I imagine it could work similarly to vim and kakoune...GitHub
