I think that's right.

Anyone who is open to changing their mind (which, I'll admit is a minority of us) implicitly knows that not everything they currently think is trustworthy.

Everyone else is extremely dangerous.

I think..
A large majority of us change our minds on many issues without ever being vocal about such issues and that makes our changes "invisible".

Being vocal about things can help us process information on a group level but it can also cement our positions by way of social pressure (e.g. saving face or "group-think").

But everyone is multidimensional and ever-changing in their thoughts, even if they're not aware, it could be "extremely dangerous" to think otherwise.

But I don't think that's really the heart of the matter here.

I have (since I changed my mind to this position) always supported networking our positions, so as to hold us to them in the public theater.
