Dear all, not a support request but rather a question to all friendica users. It would be great if you could send your feedback. The question is:

What do you think the network icon along with the icon to the right side located in the top right corner of every post do?

@Wilhelm the left shows what network the post originates from, in your case from Mastodon, the right is a link to the source of the post, clicking it will bring you to the timeline of the sender and show the post there.
@Wilhelm for me it looks like:
it opens a new tab to friendica or what is shown there (diaspora, mastodon, etc) maybe to the original post
@Wilhelm My opinion :
First you see from which Fediverse network the post comes, then the direct link to the original post. This might help to check if there was any modifications (malicious ?) of the post or maybe to check the trust in such or such network.
I would point at it and read the tooltip 😀
