They should switch to Soapbox/Rebased. I remember talking with @dj back in the day about Pleroma when they were being messed up, so he switched to Akkoma because it got new features and was still getting updates. Now, it seems like they're having problems with Akkoma, so I think they should switch to Rebased+Soapbox. Unfortunately you lose out on the bubble timeline and local-only posts, and there are lots of other instances with Soapbox/Rebased.

That's what I was doing. Clear your browser cache since I had to update the front end too. I had to reset my password, hopefully you don't.

So you took it down just to switch the instance over? All while keeping the same frontend?

No local posts, not seeing quote posts either. I guess you have to use the cope frontend to use them.
