@Friendica Developers
Hello
I don't promise anything, but I have interest in developing a #moderation #addon for #friendica (mainly reports compatibility).
Where do you suggest to start? Thanks
@skrlet13 Thank you for your interest, we’ve started work in the core to add moderation features, mainly in a branch in my fork, I should submit it shortly and you’ll be able to take it from here for your own purpose. What compatibility are you looking into?
@Hypolite Petovan mainly reports from mastodon. To recieve and send. Also ability to suspend, silence and warn users
@skrlet13 We can already receive reports thanks to @Michael Vogel 's work. I've been working on the report creation page for Friendica users, but there's no page to display or handle these reports yet.

I'm not sure what you mean by "suspend", "silence" and "warn" users but we probably have some form of these features already.
@Hypolite Petovan @Michael Vogel

I think suspend is covered by your standard blocking.

Silence means that posts of an instance/ user don't appear in public timeslines.

Warn is like sending a special message (and email) to an user when they broke/are tiptoeing a rule and you want to tell them about it.
Can you do it for a complete instance? Also I think including that stuff in the moderation UI would be useful too. Some mods may not have sysadmin access
@Tobias @skrlet13 There's no instance silence yet, we just have instance block available, based on simple domain pattern matching.
