Wasmer 3.3 - Running WebAssembly 2.5x faster with JavascriptCore, https://wasmer.io/posts/wasmer-3.3-and-javascriptcore.
Wasmer 3.3 has a new backend which uses JavaScriptCore. Interesting approach. It’s the 4th backend after SinglePass, Cranelift and LLVM.
Wasmer is still a great project but its CEO is a danger. Reminder: https://mnt.io/2021/10/04/i-leave-wasmer/. Its toxic behaviour is still very present.
But the project is great. Thanks to the contributors and the brave employees working there!

•Worked at #Wasmer Inc for some time after you left it, but didn't stay for a long time either. The team was great and has a high density of Know-How, but I also encountered issues with the CEO, and so did other team members. Had I read your blog post earlier, I wouldn't have joined. Very decent piece of software anyway.
Still happy with the change in my career that happened by Wasmer hiring me back then, I wouldn't have given up my previous employment otherwise.

•Given everything about him (god just go look at his bird site account) and the fact that other runtimes like wasmtime exist, I don’t know why anyone would choose to use Wasmer except for ignorance.
