Kann ich bestätigen. Ich habe heute ein Microsoft Surface RT mit Linux aufgesetzt und das läuft tradellos - im Gegensatz zu RT (Windows 8) mit aktueller Updates!
In my case, it is a 12 year old PC: Dell XPS 8500, CPU: Intel i7, 12 GB RAM, with Linux Debian 12 + i3WM.
me HP; 32go; AMD 4 coeurs 2500; ubuntu 22
Asus, Intel i5 4 coeurs, 6go, nvidia geforce 520M, Ubuntu 24.04 ^
now ubuntu 24 !!
a lot of evolution in it !
Dell Optiflex 7050, i7, 32GB Ram, GT 1030 (4GB), Linux Mint 21.2 Cinnamon
Dell Optiplex 7010 with 8 Gb RAM, Intel i5-3570, 4 cores - Debian Bookworm
Fun fact: Linux will still run quite fast on 32MB of memory just like it did in the 1990's and it was fast enough to serve hundreds of concurrent users. That's why I like embedded systems design, which is quite the opposite of commercial bloat. The BSD distributions still have that speed today.
