Okay, it's kinda like attaching a larger canvas to a grain of rice, painting the Mona Lisa on the canvas attached to the grain of rice, and then slowly dripping the paint from the canvas through the grain of rice, on to your TV screen.

A bit of a forced metaphor, perhaps.
