A black and white photograph of the infamous "Arbeit Macht Frei" sign at the entrance gate of a concentration camp. The sign, with its iron lettering, is partially obscured by a worn and chipped wooden barrier bearing a "Halt" warning sign. In the background, bare tree branches stretch against a cloudy, overcast sky, evoking a somber and reflective mood.
