Same here. I was forever changed with the Ethiopian-Eritrean war declared on May 13 1998. And then I saw yet another facet of people with this war declared on November 4th 2020. However, it prepared me for all the different genocide justifications and denials we're seeing with #GazaGenocide, because the talking points are exactly the same.
