I adjusted the settings on my server, now I see a CW for #nsfw
However, still wondering how to set one per Post like on Mastodon. Maybe I want to talk about death, sickness, certain foods, whatever. On Mastodon I can set a content warning for whatever I want. I'd there a way to do this on Friendica also?
I have done some more testing and found that using "abstract" works fine for text. But images are still visible. Any idea how to hide images behind a CW
Looking into the status messages that are sent via the ActivityPub Protocol, I can see that the "spoiler_text" field is used for the content warning. There is also a "sensitive" field that remains empty
You can hide them behind a CW if you use the #nsfw hashtag. [abstract]Teaser Text[/abstract]

@Rick [Friendica] tl;dr: Content warnings on #friendica work relatively reasy. You need to use the [abstract] and [/abstract] bbcode. The main visible text can be placed within these. Everything else should be hidden behind a CW.
Except for yourself! You can always see your own messages in clear and the text from the abstract is weirdly hidden from you.
But you can check out if the hiding feature because of the CW works by opening your post from a inkognito browser/tab or so. ;)
I can confirm - the nsfw tag hides media while abstract /abstract bbcode can be used to hide text behind a content warning. Feels a bit clumsy but I think I can get used to it 😀
Edit: BTW Pleroma treats these differently again...
