A #Friendica feature I really like is that you can delete any post or reply you received in your feed without having to block or mute the author. It is useful in a variety of reasons like unexpected NSFW content or out-of-character anger outbursts.

Your feed, your choice.
Wait - what does "remove locally" do?!
What it says on the tin: it removes it from your sight, network page and single thread view. Not sure about community pages though.
How does this feature you request differ? Bans it from the community pages?
I'm not requesting anything, I just expressed my enjoyment of an existing feature. I'm talking about the "Remove locally" feature in my original post.
Oh! Fuck - I misread! I am just an idiot
/me looks at Delete Globally but prefers to be thought of as an idiot
@silverwizard@Hypolite Petovan I will remove that comment locally for the out-of-character anger outburst. :)
Afaict he's not requesting a new feature as much as he is pointing out an existing feature he likes ^_^
It dawned on him eventually. If you aren't following @silverwizard yet you should receive his epiphany reply I myself replied to 11 minutes ago.

Filtered word: nsfw

You can post all the NSFW you want, and the advantage is that people can ignore it on their own, don't need a central authority to do it
