I posted some photos that can not be accessed publicly, so the photos are not available to anyone but myself. I did the upload from /compose and the post is public.

Why is this not working?

Same here.
Newly uplaoded Images are set to "visible only to yourself".
Workaround: Go to the galery and adjust the Permissions of each image.

@Raroun oh, thanks so much. I missed that setting yesterday and was unsure if it was me only having that problem, I also have another problem with pictures, all profile pictures are blurred like this.

So I had a feeling that there could be more problems on my side.

It seems to be a general problem with the composer. I don´t know if its intended or if i should open an issue.

I just confirmed that this is not a problem through the Mastodon API endpoint.

Right. I was just concerned it may be a more systemic issue that was also adversely affecting us from the API side as well.
