@Friendica Support @Raroun overnight [it's now my saturday 10am, midnight germany] there's been a subtle change in the timestamping of all posts in all my timelines. previously they displayed their posting time as "x hours ago", & i could only see the actual posting time by hovering on that item. now, they directly display the posting time... & i like this a lot. has there been a software update that did this, or was an administrative config change made?

this is not a complaint, not a problem -- i like this change -- it's just a surprise, so i am curious. thank you.

@Raroun oh wonderful, great work. as i said, though only a subtle change, i really like & appreciate it -- thank you for doing it! πŸŽ‰ πŸ₯³πŸ’ƒ

I also like it a lot. It's very subtle at first but becomes indispensable in minutes.
Feels like it should always has been like this.
Thanks to @Michael πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ for the implementation.
@Raroun @Michael πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ fwiw, i certainly agree. having to hover to see the timestamp was some "friction" in my workflow that i wasn't strongly aware of before, until today when i get to experience the improvement... "little but big", heehee.

@Raroun @Droppie [opensoc] @Michael πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ There is some irony to this change receiving positive feedback: We love to see information unobstructed and having friction-less workflows. And yet friendica shortens links (is that the default for new installs?) so that it is not visible right away to users, where a link goes.

Sadly this issue was closed without a solution for users from what I understand:
