They are doing a job, the Presidents' wife has strong feelings about ... 🤔 🤣
They’ve helped me maintain my sanity in these trying times.

Last night, ICYMI, David Letterman returned to the show he built, and re-kindled a tradition from his reign, a "sendoff" from the roof, complete with cake and a message to #CBS / #Paramount. - precious #truth - #ContextAndPerspective

G-d bless the gods of #truth & #comedy / #humor

Letterman definitely sent a message and gave Colbert a release for his contained anger. I do wonder what he’ll say when it’s all over.

It was a rekindling of the past joined to the present. I loved “they can take your show but they can’t take your voice.”

FWIW, I can't get anywhere near the final show taping of Colbert, but -
I did attend the last public Late Nite with David Letterman. Like Colbert, Letterman brought out some favorite guests and memories, and I was part of the crowd that watched Bill Murray emerge from a cake (speaking of cake) and head out to the street, singing "" (Letterman's production company.

Sigh....
