Sir Terence D. J. Pratchett was a genius!
I love those ancient curses, and have spoken a number of them to people who well deserved to be cursed. One example- my computer was hijacked - and the thieves (from India or Africa) demanded hundreds of dollars before they would β€˜release’ it.
"I curse you, and the other men in the crowded room you’re calling me from.
β€œMay your dicks dry up and blow in the wind!.”
May your mother and father curse you.
(…the curses get more graphic…)
I gave the guy a chance to repent and release my computer from captivity. He did not. With that, I unplugged my computer and called Michael, my computer God.
At the time of the hijack, I didn't know to immediately get off the internet and unplug my computer.
- "If your computer has been hacked by scammers, the most crucial step is to immediately disconnect from the internet, turn off your computer, and contact a trusted computer technician to assess the damage and take necessary security measures; additionally, you should notify your bank or financial institutions if you believe your personal information has been compromised and consider taking steps to protect against identity theft."
