Post-install adaptations?
!Friendica Support
Hello,
After few years I am back to Friendica and trying to set up my personal instance again.
One general question is, where can I find some tutorials (preferably in writing) regarding basic adaptations that can / should be done after fresh installation?
Until I find tutorials, I have few more detailed questions:
-- How to adapt banner and logo to show my picture?
is quite cryptic. When I tried to replace logo file link with another, everything disappeared. How to proceed?
-- How can I define the icon for browser tab?
-- Due to configuration problems, I have reinstalled my instance. Previously, there was a script available, to fetch contacts from my previous Osada instance. Now, after final installation, I cannot find it. There is only a csv import option, which I do not know how to use, as Osada export is in json format. 🙁 Is it possible to find that previous way (which was also filtering out dead contacts!)
Any help will be appreciated.

•In the admin panel -> site configuration there is a setting for the URL of a "shortcur icon" among the general information of the node. This will be used by browsers as favicon for the tabs as well.
I'm not aware of such an conversation script. Anyhow the import of JSON should be possible I think (I'll add the feature request to the tracker later). In the mean time you'd have to convert the JSON file to CSV manually.
If you trust me, you can send the file to
tobias(dot)diekershoff(at)gmx(dot)net
and I'll have a look into the conversion of that file so you can import your Osada contacts into your Friendica account.8Petros [Signal: Petros.63]
•Thank you, I will send it.
There may be a broader interest interest in Osada -> Friendica migration, as AFAIK Osada and other children of Zap are about to be abandoned soon-ish.

•From my FF history I dug out the URL (currently returns "No contacts to subscribe")
Base URL: https://petroskowo.pl/ostatus_subscribe
Full syntax: https://petroskowo.pl/ostatus_subscribe?counter=xxx
Maybe that tells you something.

•For my login background I first upload an image to my "Photos" then open that image in a tab to get the url to it, then use that url in the Theme Selection ->
