I am a fan of #Tor (I suspect that we are one of very few law firms with a .onion site), but I am disappointed? surprised? to see the Tor project aligning itself with a cryptocurrency scheme:

But then again, I guess I still have a challenging relationship with cryptocurrency, as I like the idea of something approaching a digital /online equivalent of cash transactions, and the inclusivity that that brings.

#Tor
My brief notes on why I feel I have a complicated relationship with #cryptocurrency are here:

They still hold true, I think, with even more weight on the environmental damage.

I still have a small amount of Bitcoin in a hardware wallet, but we don’t accept payment in cryptocurrency, and I doubt the wallet even has charge.
And if you have not used Tor Browser and wanted to give it a try (bearing in mind that, in some places, merely using it or having it installed might be risky), but you are not sure what to do, you are welcome to visit https://decoded.legal.

This *should* redirect you automatically to our .onion hostname, so you’ll see a very long url ending in .onion in the URL bar.

Or there’s a link in my bio, if you want to avoid that initial clear web connection.
