It’s on the bucket list, just not become a priority yet. Mastodon’s implementation is retarded BTW. It happens entirely in Redis and trends expire at exactly midnight UTC. So if you check at midnight it will be completely empty.

It’s more of a “we checked it off our list” thing than an actual implementation.

The UI for it already exists in Soapbox FE, but the backend is the hard part.
