In our household & running? One. Personally? Zero. (We also have a Corolla sedan that's been dead for over three years now. Flood damage.)
2 but neither one works!
so, to be more precise: there is a car in my name but i do not drive it as it is in another country.
Zero. Living in a town with (not enough) bikelanes and public transport ๐Ÿ‘.
Why do I have 2 cars? I am dedicated to keeping my 1992 Ford Festiva on the road. small, cheap to repair. 42mpg. and I can haul as much as a small pickup in it. Carbon to produce it was 30yrs ago. No carbon to produce a new car.

So I got a 2nd one to use as a spare driver and/or emergency parts. It also serves as storage.
Went from 2 to 1 early in the pandemic. We live in the country, so everything requires just a bit more planning, but that's fine. Very, very rarely in a situation where we both need a car at the same time, and when we do, we can usually borrow one, or figure out some other arrangement.
I can only drive one.
I want to know which one of yall has 3 or more cars
Personally, registered in my name? One.
My wife also has one.
So two in our household.
When our kids were at home, another one or two depending.

Also, mine is for sale, anyone want to buy a 2011 Hyundai IX35?
Embarrassingly, we have 3

Fully electric for wife's work (rural area, no public transport )

20 year old roadster for occasional trips to the seaside in summer

13 year old Fiat Doblo Van which is only used for moving big stuff or as an occasional second car
How many bicycles do you have?

There's no fractional option? [car sharer here]
Live in London so, none. Modes of transport in order of frequency and preference: walking, bus, bike, and a distant last, tube. Wish bike was ahead of bus but situation and health means otherwise.

If and when we need one, Zipcar/Zipvan for short hires, and hire car company for more than a day ones. Very rare for either.
one broken not working van
well at least 3 runโ€ฆ maybe ๐Ÿ˜„
One in the US, one in the UKโ€ฆ
@lprodromo I didn't know you still have a car in the US!
Karen and John use it. They keep one of their two in Palm Springs and one in Orinda.
does a company-owned worked vehicle count

WELL, I do drive it 4 days a week A LOT, but if it wasn't me, someone else would be driving it so I guess it doesn't matter if I have it or not...
Wife's car, VW ID.3 in active use. My own car, a 2011 Nissan LEAF is currently not in use and has been parked and unloved on the driveway for ~ยฝ a year since I'm working remote and don't need it until summer.
when you say two, is that personally, or household. We have two, one each (my partner and me)
household. We've got a 2017 Chevy Bolt as a family car and I have a 1972 Citroรซn DS that lives in a barn outside of town.
