I finally did it, I confused two shipping labels and shipped the wrong #LEGO order to two of my buyers. π°
I contacted them both, issued partial refunds and they agreed to ship each otherβs package using new shipping labels I paid for, and now Iβm waiting for them to do the actual shipping.
I donβt do well sitting on my hands, having done everything I could, relying on strangers to right my wrong. π£

•oh man, I've always been afraid of that one! If it's any consolation, BL buyers (assuming BL here) are all high caliber folks in my experience, so they're probably not terribly put out by it.
Out of curiosity (and continued fear of my own likelihood of committing this mistake) what did you land on for discounts? Percentage based? Fixed amount?

•@Brian Richards The confusion was between a BrickLink and a BrickOwl order, and the BrickLink buyer who received the wrong package first came at me rather hot because their order had another unrelated fulfillment delay (forgot to close my store when I left home for Thanksgiving week).
I ended up refunding US $5 out of the US $21 order (excluding shipping) and US $2 out of the US $3.5 order. Plus the two additional shipping labels, I basically gave away the two orders.
