For me it all exploded after I added the block, the queue is growing rapidly with tasks that have mastotroll.netz.org in them. Not sure why the tasks are still created, maybe the block function should prevent this...

@utzer [Friendica] Thanks, the version 2023.04-1 is supposed to have such a block based on the domain list.

@hoergen I agree, this was completely reckless, and the fact that they were hosting "just" one instance shows they had no idea how the ActivityPub troll bomb worked before deploying it in their name.

Yeah, I noted that the Server domain pattern block-list does not necessarily seem to work sometimes which is why I also add the Server domain pattern to my pihole block list. I know that it might be a little overkill but it is always better to be safe than sorry.
