@pixelfed @Daniel Supernault It looks like the webfinger from pixelfed.social server returns an unexpected error, preventing #Friendica users from following pixelfed.social accounts, see https://github.com/friendica/friendica/issues/12525#issuecomment-1364747336

Is it a project-wide issue that I could file with the project issue tracker or server-specific?

Error 1020 is a Cloudflare code that carries the same result as a 403. That pixelfed instance is rejecting the traffic explicitly.

Hmmmm... It explicitly rejects my server or is someone else able to repro this?

@gbraad@gbraad@social.gbraad.nl I blocked Friendica/Hubzilla temporarily from pixelfed.social (pleroma, peertube too btw) during a period of about a week while we experienced extremely high load.

I shipped a fix for the high resource usage, and removed the blocks but missed the hubzilla/friendia one.
