Tonight I thought of a Magic the Gathering card so good I couldn't sleep before I posted it:
All In
3RRR
Sorcery
Starting with you until no player has any card in their hand, each player in turn chooses one —
• Play a card from their hand by paying as much life as its converted mana cost where (x) is (0).
• Discard a card.

I think the wording could be clearer, but it's an interesting card. Is it appropriate for red? I haven't played magic for years and am not up to date xD

The goal of this card is to empty a blue or a green player of their hand. In the case of the blue, from situational Instants and Rituals. In the case of the green, of expensive Creatures. It’s a last turn gamble like red likes.
What part of the wording could be clearer? I spent quite a while looking for cards with similar mechanics (choice, life spend, discard, converted mana cost) to get it right but I’m open to criticism.

let's see... I'd take Eureka as a guideline: https://scryfall.com/card/vma/208/eureka
Also, Jagged Poppet https://scryfall.com/card/dis/115/jagged-poppet
Monomania https://scryfall.com/card/m12/102/monomania

"Starting with you, each player chooses a card in his or her hand and can play it without paying its mana cost. If he or she does, he or she loses life equal to its converted mana cost. Otherwise, he or she discards that card.
Repeat this process until all players have no cards in hand."
Still feels like a black card to me. Maybe it could be red/black? Or it could deal damage.
Would it make sense if it had some random element, e.g. the card is chosen at random?

Awesome, thank you for your suggestion!
I pondered whether it should have been a black/red card, but red also has life spending mechanics, so I didn't feel like it warranted being also black. I'll remake the card using your suggestions.

just one esthetic notice: if the card uses only hybrid mana, it shoult probably have a hybrid background (at least that was the case back in ravnica). Or you could make it twocolored (maybe costing 3RRB? That way it would still be mostly red, and a splash of black would be enough to play it)
