@pixelfed I lost track whether it is possible to import the contents of an #Instagram account in #Pixelfed and how? I’ve been waiting for this feature to close my account over there.
Additional information: I’m the admin of my own instance.
So instagram import sort of worked before, but needed (at least in the case of postgresql instances which I'm sure yours won't be) required a little bit of manual intervention.. but then instagram changed the format of their exports and now it doesn't work - however in the pixelfed matrix channel Dan recently posted this:
"I mean I'm pausing new feature dev, but I consider Instagram Import as buggy"
So, I suspect it will be addressed in the next flurry of commits.
