Last week, I learned from a USPS delivery worker that #Amazon has a deal with USPS where they have their own delivery workers for the last mile. These workers do not have access to secure USPS mailboxes which means Amazon packages are just left in the lobby of my building.
Another good reason to ditch Amazon specifically.

•I meant it is lucrative for parcel services to just live the shipment on your doorstep or some place like that, because they pay their workers per delivery try or by hour... So lost packages are not the issue, but probably the money they have to pay to try to deliver it multiple times.

•So I gave a 400 character review lambasting the driver saying the only reason he got one star was because I couldn't give zero.
Second delivery. Would have fit through the mail slot again. Rang the doorbell twice, back to back. Took the requisite pictures and left the package on the step. As he was getting back in his car, my son got to the door. His room is one room from the front door. He took a picture of him opening the door and pointed the small package out to him.
Sigh. Lowest bidder. Lazy and ignorant delivery drivers.

•Just don't buy from Amazon, it's that simple.
