Rain is beginning now and will continue sporadically for a couple days. Naturally, today is the day our new battery powered mower arrived. This saves me from having to dash around after it until later in the week. I have found that with a full squeeze of the self-propelling control bar, it proceeds quite briskly, almost alarmingly so.
Raindrops on the window AC woke me up at 5:30 this morning. Rain is a lot quieter than a nail gun, but it was right at the bedroom window. I usually wake up about then anyway with a full bladder. Oh well. I'll take an allergy pill now to unstuff my nose. Mushroom season is upon us.
I like waking to rain, not so much to hammering on the roof. Ragweed is running amok and antihistamines are necessary. We have another week of FL in the 90sF with humidity but next week we “might” be in the 70s. Come on autumn. 🍂
I went out for a while. It’s like the rain forest out there, 90sF with 89% humidity. I know I wouldn’t make it in a tropical climate. The humidity would kill me before the poisonous frogs. 🐸
'm thinking after these thunderstorms and warm temps that Scotland has moved to the tropics along with it's insects! Not seen any poisonous frogs though! Just flickering lights.
