Getting back admin rights?


Hi !Friendica Support
I am using #Friendica on a #Yunohost installation, that gave me an update to 2022-12 today. I did it and after my self-coded theme and addons were gone.. I had to reupload them.

But the worse part is, that I am no admin in my own installation anymore. What column in what table do I have to change to get back admin role?

Go to the file /var/www/friendica/config/local.config.php and change the admin email to yours. That's all you need.

(It was changed to my yunohost email, I think I set it up once to my friendica email)

Yeah the YNH update does this...I had to learn to fix it every time I update mine. At least it is an easy fix.
It is.. But now I am thinking about simply changing my friendica email to my yunohost email, then I don't have to remember this. And the friendica email is not really used anyways.. hmm.

You must set your eMail address in config/local.config.php. I am a little bit tired, so i hope this hint will help.

@Grischa Admin rights are granted to the users which email addresses are mentioned in the config.admin_email configuration key set in the config/local.config.php file.
