https://www.davidrevoy.com/article182/calibrating-wacom-stylus-pressure-on-krita thank you @davidrevoy@framapiaf.org, today a drawing tablet is coming and my son will start experimenting with Krita #Krita#DrawingTablet
That's super cool, and don't worry if your son has frustration at first. I tell this because when I received my first tablet more than 20 years ago, I was barely able to paint a tree and had to spend time setting it up; that contrasted with my high expectation of making a masterpiece on the first afternoon 😊 . It takes multiple days of doodling until the brain catches it like a habit. It feels the same each time I switch to a new tablet here too, more or less.
sigh, I had to return the tablet... Turned out that only XP-Pen G640 rev. B is compatible with both Windows and ChromeOS... And of course I've bought rev. A.

Oh no. Good for you that you could return the item. Manufacturers makes me tired when they have ambiguous model lines; with versionA, B and key features that are in one and not the other; and of course e-hop rarely describes the full spec. I hope you'll have more luck on the next one.
now I'm going for an Ugee S640, that explicitly states its ChromeOS compatibility. Stay tuned for exciting news ☺️#DrawingTablet#ChromeOS
the tablet has arrived, and I can confirm that Krita on my Chromebook recognizes it (with pressure sensitivity) from the start, while Windows needs the drivers.
My son uses it much better than me... #DrawingTablet#Krita
Good! I hope he will have fun with it. 😊
