I, for one, am glad the people of the United States finally united behind *checks note* Jimmy Kimmel, whose late night comedy show has been reinstated after having been suspended pending a FCC-supervised merger of its parent company with another media conglomerate..

I hope he goes really hard next show, because he clearly can, now. He probably won’t, because he still is Jimmy Kimmel, but it would have been great.

Well that was fast. Would have been interesting to see their estimates of the unsubscribe movement that was perhaps still forming an unprecedented avalanche.

@utopiArte The few articles I skimmed about this estimate a few million streaming service cancellations.

The damage is done though, people just won’t flock back to Disney+ immediately, I expect it will take several months for them just to get back to their previous subscriber level.

He could, he also could mess everything up by not doing so.

That's a terrible sweat spot to be in right now. He should invite his Ex Sarah to help him out. Ohh, and what was her name "the chique" that came over here after the #swastiXcar owner canceled her so we could help her out as a safe space for some time. The one that took a deep dive into her alpha sperm mixer liquid ..

@Hypolite Petovan Yeah, the "problem", besides waiting to see if they really got the message, is that people aren't clamoring for upcoming Disney+ content right now. Viewers are kinda burnt out on The Mandalorian and MCU shows.
