I'm starting to think of an honest way to organize your feed. Two ideas:
1) Users split their content into topic-specific channels, followers subscribe only to the channels they like (a #Hubzilla way).
2) A ML service that tags the content with common labels such as language, topic, persons mentioned, and with per-user data via like/dislike buttons (or a better UI) against each label (i.e. hide posts in languages I don't know), users will have a special "ML-filtered" feed.
Thoughts?
Interesting, how then the language is determined?
Thanks, but I'm asking more about which party determines and sets those language tags, rather than where specifically they are put. From what I see, I guess it's up to the client app to set the language, am I correct?
